Raising Malphus
by John Everson and Tomasz Czarny
How far would you go to become beautiful? What would you sacrifice to become irresistible?
Stasia wants what the beautiful have. What the sexy have. What the popular have. And sheβs willing to do whatever it takes to join their ranks.
When she discovers the Book of the Curburide, an ancient trove of demonic secrets, Stasia finds a path to the transformation she craves. Its forbidden knowledge holds the key to summoning Malphus, a terrifying Curburide demon capable of bestowing deadly beauty and sensuality upon those who dare to call him.
But the road to temptation leads to Barcelona, where the secrets of the Curburide are guarded by the sinister Church of the Flesh. To claim the power she desires, Stasia must face a series of increasingly disturbing trials steeped in sex, blood, and unspeakable perversion.
Some things should never be summoned. Some desires should never be fulfilled.
