Slaughter Cycle
by Adam Lynch
“Fun for you. Hell for them.” Westworld meets Slasher flicks.
Alice and her friends have been slaughtered by an axe wielding maniac while working as camp counselors. They have been skewered by a psycho with a pitchfork while hiking across farmland. They’ve met their end to chainsaw swinging clowns while enjoying carnival games. They don’t remember any of this of course. They shouldn’t remember anyway.
Slaughter Cycle takes horror tropes and sees a megacorp monetize them. In the near future the wealthy can live out the role of slasher killer upon provided victims. It’s mostly legal but the ethical implications of their copyrighted Simulants make them ask for discretion from their loyal customers.
